About Us
Niuwara is a PNG registered, National Owned company that has been established to meet the specific needs of Papua New Guinea’s Resource Industries and Community water infrastructure needs. We advise, design, manage and execute a range of projects associated with the supply and management of water resources.
We are a hands-on organisation priding itself on the firsthand experience of its management and operations team – we don’t just talk about onsite conditions and equipment, we have owned, operated and maintained pump stations, treatment plants and pipelines across Papua New Guinea, Australia and the Pacific.
We employ a team of highly experienced professionals who have extensive experience in leading projects from inception to completion throughout Papua New Guinea and SE Asia. We have provided our expertise throughout the mines and gas fields of PNG, as well as to LLG’s, Provincial and National Government bodies.

Pipeline Trenching
Niuwara PNG Ltd has self-propelled trenching equipment to ensure the fast and efficient digging of pipeline trenches. Our rock trenchers can cut trenches
up to 1,500mm deep and 600mm wide. Our trenchers are designed to cut through bitumen as well as hard stone and can trench up to 1,000m per day.
